The Create Course
Want to be more creative in your life, but don’t know where to start?
The Create Course is an opportunity to explore your creativity in a friendly, open, and informal setting, for anyone aged 16 or over who is curious and wants to try something new. Join us on Thursday mornings to invent a new recipe, write a song, share a story, get stuck into a collage, or just have fun.
The weekly meet-ups bring a group together for good food, good company and a chance to re-discover your creativity. Previous sessions have featured guest leaders including garden designer Nina Leatherdale, gardening activists from Permablitz, chef Veronica Lopes da Silva, performer and musician Conrad Murray, spoken-word artist Polarbear, artist Ben Connors, and many more.
We offer a free creche on request and a free lunch. Places are free but given on a first come, first served basis. The Create Course runs in 6-week blocks, in Autumn, Winter and Spring. The course is intended as a 6-week programme, so we unfortnately cannot take sign-ups for individual sessions.
The Create Course during Covid-19
Our weekly meet-ups are on pause at the moment. However, we believe we all need creativity now more than ever.
Current Create Course members have recieved a Create Course in your Inbox containing a personalised welcome letter, along with craft materials and creative challenges to be opened every Thursday morning for six weeks – from growing micro-greens, to creating postcards for friends.
