Let's Talk About Sex... With Cancer, Baby

THU 4 MAR, 8PM

Art project and community enterprise Sex with Cancer is back to further the discussion on all things illness and intimacy, sexual function and pleasure.

Join or listen in to their next online panel with local experts, focused on guiding you to feel more comfortable and confident having positive conversations around sex and cancer. Hosted by artist and former cancer patient Brian Lobel, you’ll be taken through an online interactive experience and, on completion, receive a coveted Certificate in Sex with Cancer Conversation Competency.

This event is open to anyone curious about how to have difficult conversations. It’s free to join and there’s no obligation to talk, we’d just love to see you.

Part of a series of regional conversations hosted between 2 and 6 Mar 2021 in partnership with Battersea Arts Centre in London, CONTACT in Greater Manchester, Wunderbar in Newcastle/Gateshead and The Attenborough Centre for the Creative Arts, Brighton.

This event is free but places are limited. Running time 90 mins.

JOIN THE LONDON CONVERSATION

What if cancer patients got together to design their own sex shop?

Created by Brian Lobel & Joon Lynn Goh, art project and community enterprise Sex with Cancer aims to hold a public conversation about illness and intimacy.

Looking to find innovative solutions to often ignored discussions, Sex with Cancer is for people living with and beyond cancer, and for their admirers – those who love them, who care for them, who are hot for them.

Submit your questions about sex and cancer, take part in interactive and online performances and help us launch the world’s first sex shop, owned and run by cancer patients.

Co-commissioned by Battersea Arts Centre, Attenborough Centre for the Creative Arts, Contact & Wunderbar. Made in partnership with Sh! Supported by Arts Council England.
