AT BATTERSEA ARTS CENTRE
Filled with history and creative flair, our authentic town hall building offers an array of beautiful spaces for couples wanting to tie the knot somewhere a little different.
Our Grand Hall, Octagonal Hall, Council Chamber and Members’ Library are all licensed for civil weddings and ceremonies and the range of spaces on offer for this special moment are what make Battersea Arts Centre such a dream wedding venue.
The Foyer at the heart of the building is also popular for couples wanting an unusual wedding venue where they can get married on the beautiful marble staircase before their reception in the Council Chamber or Grand Hall.
Please note the Foyer is only available on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
Grand Hall – 600 seated
Octagonal Hall – 50 seated or 85 standing
Council Chamber – 160 seated ceremony
Members Library – 40 seated or 60 standing ceremony
Foyer – 120 seated ceremony (Sundays only)

Both the Grand Hall and the Council Chamber come with adjacent rooms, so you can be creative with where you dance, drink and dine.
Our experienced team are on hand to help manage your big day from start to finish and our in-house caterers, led by Head Chef Nigel James, pride themselves on creating lovingly prepared menus to fit the vision and feel of your special day. We also work with a carefully curated selection of external caterers. We work with you to find a menu that suits your aesthetic, your tastes and your guests. Grand Hall – up to 350 seated and 800 for a standing reception.
Council Chamber – up to 132 seated and 200 for a standing reception.
Council Chamber and Members Library – up to 180 seated and 260 for a standing reception.
