Our carnival is a homage to the carnivals across the Afro-Caribbean diaspora. It is a celebration of emancipation, rebellion and Afro-Caribbean folklore, culture and tradition. It is the history of our our ancestors and through such struggle we can have solace knowing they felt joy.
We expect everyone to respect the carnival culture and not to culturally appropriate through language, fashion and taking up space.
A Vibe Checker will be on hand throughout the event to look after everyone’s welfare.
