A documentary by Alfred George Bailey, Modern Films and Tavaziva Dance.

Filmed in Battersea Arts Centre’s historic Grand Hall, local filmmaker Alfred George Bailey presents I Still Breathe – a documentary about a group of young adults who give extraordinary testimonies of being black, mixed race and white in London.

They passionately react to the impact of George Floyd’s killing, which has sent shockwaves globally. The response to this inhumane act has been an awakening in the collective social consciousness, and “Black Lives Matter” has echoed around the world. But what will happen now?

I Still Breathe is a statement of hope for the world because sometimes the most profound messages come from the voices that are unheard.

The screening will be followed by an open Q&A featuring director Alfred George Bailey, participants Nish Rowe & Dulcie Usher, cinematographer Matteo Bangrazi and composer Nicholas Brown.
